Contact Your Government Representative A quick 5 minute phone call matters more than you may know. The outrage over this problem is growing, and the more people that speak out the more seriously our elected representatives will take our concerns. Your local government representative phone number can be located here. I also suggest copying this sample letter, printing and signing it, and mailing it to your local government representative. You may copy the text of this letter and submit it using your Senator's web form. This only takes a few minutes and the cost of a stamp and paper, but helps impact billions of people. Sample Letter
I am a concerned voter in your (district/state) about the medical issues associated with mercury. I am convinced by the overwhelming amount of scientific data that the three common forms of mercury poisoning—dental amalgams, flu vaccines, and contaminated fish—are a serious health risk to me and the members of my community. Increasing epidemics like autism, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, autoimmune disorders, and some forms of cancer are all undeniably linked to the same cause: chronic mercury poisoning. As my elected representative I urge you to investigate this matter further and take action immediately. On my behalf as a voter, please support all legislation that bans the use of “silver” dental amalgams, requires coal burning plants to install scrubbers and reduce emissions, and warns people about fish contamination levels.
