Mercury Risk Factors |

Most People Have Dangerous Mercury Levels in Their Body |

I’m under the impression that when the government issues a warning about products from major industries like fish and seafood, dentistry, and medicine we better take it seriously. Rest assured that a LOT of scientists presented indisputable evidence to the government that mercury is really, really bad. The government probably took years to build the consensus, discussed the financial impact of releasing a warning with lobbyists that pay for their reelection campaigns, then came out with strategic ways to increase the “actionable risk levels” to humans (the FDA term). In other words, if the government says 1.0 ppm (part per million) is bad, my comfort level is significantly lower than that. You likely have elevated levels of mercury if you:
Some people appear to be unable to excrete mercury naturally, which puts them at extremely high risk. When tested for heavy metals these people come up clean because mercury doesn't appear in their bodily excretions, and is instead held in the body. However, once chelation therapy (discussed in Action Step #2) is initiated a large amount of mercury is found. This is especially common in people suffering from autism and multiple schlerosis. Other A good friend of mine remembers breaking a thermometer and rolling the silver mercury around in her fingers as a child. The mercury likely spread throughout the house and was not cleaned up as it should have been. She also included fish as a regular part of her diet. She developed the autoimmune illness Graves Disease, complains of being “foggy headed” and has noticeable memory loss and learning difficulties all the way into her 30s. A recent visit to a well known naturopathic doctor diagnosed her with severe mercury poisoning and she’s receiving aggressive treatment.
